    Cashless Treatment at 4000+ Network Hospitals

    You don’t have to pay even a single paisa from your own pocket in more than 5000+ network hospitals, for all the treatments that are covered by the policy. The Insurer shall pay for your treatment directly to the hospital, maximum up to Sum Insured.

    Day Care Treatments

    Insurance company will pay for more than 140 treatments that would require hospitalization for less than 24 hours. (Due to advancement in Technology). Please refer the terms for exact list of procedures.

    Wellness Services

    You will have the option of seeking medical help from a Doctor through telephone or online. You can also access health related information on the Reliance health site

    Key Product Benefits to Check

      Expenses before and after Hospitalization

      Get covered for all your claim related medical expenses 60 days before your hospitalization and upto 60 days after your discharge. This list may include follow-up visits, medication, diagnosis, etc.

      Organ Donor Cover

      Medical expenses of organ donor are covered up to 50% of the Sum Insured, in case of organ transplant subject to maximum

      Ambulance Cover

      You can claim upto Rs.1500 to 3000 depending on the type of plan you choose for necessary transportation fares by Ambulance.

      Recharge of Sum Insured

      If you exhaust your entire sum insured & cumulative bonus (if any) and still require further hospitalisation for any related or unrelated illness, your sum insured will be recharged at no extra cost.

      Policy Service Guarantee

      In case the policy issual is delayed by 10 days even after submitting all documents, you will receive a onetime additional Sum Insured of Rs.10,000 to 20,000 depending upon plan type.

        Pre Existing Diseases

        In the first 3 years of subscription, the policy will not pay for treating medical conditions that you may have been suffering from before purchasing the policy.

        30 days Waiting Period

        You can only claim for treatments undergone 30 days after the issue of the policy except for treatment of emergency/accidents

        2 years waiting period

        This policy covers some diseases/treatments like Cataract, Hysterectomy, Kidney Stone, Varicose veins, surgery of Tonsils and sinuses …etc., only after 2 years.

          Hospitalisation Expenses means the medical treatment costs that is necessary andreasonable in scope to treat the condition for which the Insured Person was Hospitalisedto the extent that such cost does not exceed the reasonable charges. The patient has to be in the hospital for at least 24 hours. Generally covers ICU charges, surgery, anaesthesia, doctor's charges etc.

                What tax benefits can you avail by having a health insurance?

                Do I have to undergo any medical examination?

                A medical check-up is required only in some cases.                 Who pays for the medical examination?

                The proposed insured(s) will need to pay for the cost of Pre-Policy Check-up (PPC) directly to the doctor or diagnostic centre. Reliance will co-ordinate the appointment with the empanelled doctor or diagnostic centre through appointed RCARE (In-house).

                Can the sum insured be changed in the mid-term?

                How can I add my family members to my existing policy?

                ​You can add family members to your existing policy only when you are renewing your Individual Policy or Floater mediclaim insurance Policy subject to applicable underwriting guidelines and approval from us. You cannot add dependants in the middle of a policy term, except in the case of a new born baby (from 91 day) or a newly married spouse.
